"Keep close to Nature's heart ... and break clear away, once in a while, and   climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.  Wash your spirit clean."

Redbud Cottage

We are proud to offer Redbud Cottage as a vacation rental, available by the day or week.  Nestled within our unique and private 160 acre nature preserve, the cottage is cozy, fully furnished, and has all the amenities and comforts of home.  Whether floating the Buffalo, exploring the ghost town of Rush, fishing for trout on the nearby world-famous White River, or simply relaxing near the firepit or on our spacious screen deck, your stay at Redbud Cottage is sure to please.

Buffalo National River

Our neighbor, the Buffalo National River, is America's first national river.  Established in 1972, the Buffalo flows freely for 135 miles and is one of the few undammed rivers in the lower 48 states.  Prepare to journey from running rapids to quiet pools, while surrounded by massive bluffs and breathtaking nature.

Rush Historic Mining District

The nearby Rush Historic District is a past zinc mining region of the Ozark Mountains in north-central Arkansas.  Located within the Buffalo National River, the district includes ruins dating from 1880 to 1940.  The buildings, structures, and ruins are the last visible remains of historic zinc mining activity in Arkansas.
